A New Executive Face

TOWER Australia has announced the appointment of Brett Clark as Chief Executive Officer for the Retail Life business. Brett joined TOWER Australia in early August 2008 from AIG Life where he was most recently the Deputy Managing Director and prior to that has held positions in the company as the General Manager, Products and Distribution and as the Chief Actuary. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne with majors in Economics and Actuarial Studies.

A New Director

Don Findlater was appointed as an independent, non-executive Director on the TOWER Australia Board in early July 2008. Don has over 40 years of professional audit, accounting and advisory experience. He has been involved with a wide range of Australian financial institutions, with particular focus on the insurance sector. Throughout his career at KPMG Don was the APRA approved auditor for a significant number of life and general insurance companies. He has a Bachelor of Commerce with merit from the University of New South Wales; is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Member of the Financial Service Accountants Association.
